I extend to you a warm welcome to Glenmore State School and trust that your association with our school community is pleasantly filled with fond memories. The goal of our school is to provide educational quality in an environment that is both supportive and caring. Promoting the values of:- RESPECT, RESPONSIBILITY, HONESTY, TRUST and CARE are inherent in the culture of the school. New students are made to feel welcome and our approach to teaching and learning caters for individual differences and needs.
For students commencing Prep in 2009 I trust you will have an exciting year that provides a solid foundation of learning for the future years.
When parents need to discuss student progress or classroom programs, they are encouraged to contact their child’s teacher to arrange a meeting at a mutually agreeable time. There are a number of committees and reference groups where parents and staff can play an active role in the school and you are invited to become involved.
We value the opportunity to provide for the educational needs of your child and look forward to your support, co-operation and contribution to Glenmore State School.
