Harmony Day celebrations

27/03/2015

Glenmore State School has a very diverse range of cultures, so we celebrated Harmony Day by hosting activities at lunch time. During the activities the students were encouraged to share their own culture and experience aspects of other cultures.

The activities included:

  • Story telling in other languages
  • Chop stick challenge (pick up food with chop sticks)
  • Name writing in other languages
  • Chalk drawn Harmony Day flags.

The sessions were loved by all students.
