National Simultaneous Storytime

National Simultaneous Storytime is an important annual event that aims to encourage more students to read and enjoy books. Now in its 13th year, it is a colourful and fun event that aims to promote the value of reading and literacy using an Australian children's book.

Every year a picture book, written and illustrated by an Australian author and illustrator is read simultaneously in libraries, schools, pre-schools, childcare centres, family homes, bookshops and many other places around the country.

On May 22 our classes will be involved in National Simultaneous Storytime. This year students will be reading “The Wrong Book”  by Nick Bland.
