Robotics Club

This year, Glenmore State School has commenced a lunchtime Robotics Club and what a blast we are having!
Students are using Lego Mindstorms kits to make and program robots. They are also programming robots that already have a personality of their own, like Sphero, Dash, BeeBot and Probot. These robots are used in library lessons throughout the year for all year levels, so all students at Glenmore State School from prep to year 6 are extending their understanding of Digital Technology.
Due to the huge popularity of the club, we have had to limit membership to the year 5 and 6 students at this stage. In the coming weeks, many of these students will become leaders for younger students and assist small groups to create their own robots.
Digital skills, group participation skills, leadership skills, fun. What's not to like about Robotics Club!
