Welcome to our Glenmore State School community. The P&C Association is a close working partner with the teaching professionals in facilitating excellent educational opportunities for our next generation.
From open debates to fundraising, not much goes on in our school without the support of the P&C, the willing work of many volunteers and the support of the mums, dads and carers of our children.
Like many things in life, what you put in enhances what you get out of it. As a school community we recognise that people are able to contribute in many different ways; from coming to the meetings, volunteering in the tuckshop, reading in the classrooms, helping out with fundraising and social events, assisting teachers with school sports and gardening, the list is endless. Every effort made to be involved is appreciated.
All parents, staff and community members are eligible to join the P&C. Membership forms are available here or by attending any of our general meetings in person.

Ongoing P&C fundraising activities
The P&C coordinates several fundraising activities such as discos, movie nights, trivia nights and the fete.
We also have a Containers for Change account (C10102296), as well as Drakes IGA Community Dollars program.
How you can volunteer
The P&C relies on parent, teacher and community support to deliver services and resources for the school community. While membership and involvement at general meetings is encouraged, there are many other ways to volunteer and be involved in the school community, including:
• as a class helper—either during class time or by doing cutting or laminating
• volunteering at the tuckshop or by donating goods
• helping at the uniform shop – during shop hours or by mending second hand uniforms
• covering books or shelving at the library
• helping out with fundraising activities throughout the year
• participating in craft group – making crafts, helping on stall days or maintaining stock levels
• sorting containers for change following breaks, taking containers to collection points, donating personal container refunds to the school code
• helping support the sustainable garden
• contributing to the success of the fete through the weekly donation program, volunteering as a stall convenor, selling art union tickets, or joining the fete committee.
