At Glenmore State School we believe that communication between the school, your child’s classroom and the home is essential. Parents and carers are able to interact with the school through:
parent information and orientation sessions
parent-teacher interviews - held twice each year
celebrations of learning
workshops on a variety of topics including support-a-reader and positive parenting
volunteering.
If you would like to discuss your child's education, please make time to contact your child's teacher by emailing, phoning or coming into the school and organising a meeting. Please do not interrupt teachers during school hours.
Academic reports are sent home twice each year.
Parents and carers can also keep up to date with classroom and school activities through the school’s fortnightly newsletters. Parents and carers are also welcome to attend the school assembly held each Friday morning. At the assembly we celebrate the achievements and efforts of our students.
