The learning experiences in the Prep year help our students to:
- Develop their literacy and numeracy skills
- Develop their oral language
- Take on responsibilities
- Become more independent
- Respect other people
- Cooperate with others
- Develop physical skills
- Learn how to be thinkers and problem solvers
- Use their imagination and creativity
Our Prep students work very hard to learn their names, the numbers and the letters of the alphabet. They can have fun trying to spot matching Easter Eggs and creating slouch hats in preparation for our ANZAC Day service.
In Prep students have been reading recipes and baking, using the interactive whiteboard to learn about shapes and colours, using the iPads to learn their sounds, and playing games to learn their sight words.
